Rotational Molding, or rotomolding, is the process of pouring dry, powdered plastic into a closed mold. The mold is then heated, rotated, and cooled. This yields stress-free, single construction parts. Parts are typically thick-walled, particularly where material can accumulate in an area such as a corner, and very robust with excellent impact strength. Stock materials include HDPE, NSF/medical and food grade HDPE, and flame-retardant HDPE Custom material options include custom colors, cross-link, and conductive.
